Empowering Emotional Wellness Paving the Path to Help and Healing
Through our Outpatient Mental Health Program, we provide personalized therapy, psychiatric care, and coordinated case management for adults seeking compassionate mental health treatment. In partnership, under contract, with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (DMH). Many clients are referred through DMH & a network of other providers.
About the Program
Alcott’s Outpatient Mental Health Program began in 1980. It serves individuals who are experiencing mental health challenges across LA County. Services are offered in office, in the field, and through telehealth. It is designed for community members with low or no income who are uninsured, or covered by Medi-Cal, Medicaid, or a combination of both.
Stability, Growth, and Continued Connection
Outpatient Programs We Offer
When it comes to mental health issues, timely access to supportive care is essential. Our outpatient services focus on individuals in the Los Angeles area who are experiencing mental health challenges. We provide practical help for community members with low or no income who are uninsured, or covered by Medi-Cal, Medicaid, or a combination of both. Our guidance takes place in the office, in the field, and via telehealth.
Services include:
A comprehensive evaluation that identifies needs, strengths, and goals to guide individualized treatment planning.
One-on-one sessions that help clients develop coping skills, process challenges, and work toward emotional stability.
Structured clinician-led groups that build peer connection, communication skills, and social confidence.
Medication evaluation and ongoing management to support symptom stabilization and long-term wellness.
Coordinated support that connects clients to mental health care, housing resources, benefits, and community services.
Skill-building and community engagement opportunities that reduce isolation and strengthen daily functioning.
Full Service Partnership (FSP)
For individuals experiencing severe mental illness and requiring a higher level of care, Alcott provides intensive, wraparound support through a program known as Full-Service Partnership (FSP). Individuals are referred into FSP from the Outpatient Mental Health program and receive mental health services including full psychosocial assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, case management, psychiatry, and socialization activities, as well as integrated support services including rehabilitation support, housing navigation, skill-building, employment education, and crisis management. The program serves high acuity community members, including those also experiencing co-occurring mental health, substance use, and/or justice-involved challenges. Alcott’s FSP therapists and case managers meet clients in their homes, in the community, and other locations, and deliver services that are culturally and linguistically competent and appropriate for each individual.
